NAC Report Heacham 23/10/17

Due to favorable tide times it was decided to change venue from weybourne to heacham to give the boys who normally travel an hour or more on a Monday night a chance for an early night.
12 arrived on a beach that had no water on it but we was assured it would arrive in time for the start of the match and sure enough come 7pm it arrived unfortunately it didn’t bring any fish with it as most of us hadn’t carded for the first 2 hours.
High tide was around 9.30 and it was around that time when news filtered down the beach that the fish were now starting to make an appearance but not in numbers, the odd flounder and the usual eels.
It was John Catchpole who managed to find the most fish carding 3 fish for 1lb 10oz but unfortunately only got him into 2nd spot as this weeks winner was the other half of the childerhouse duo Ian who managed top spot with 2 fish for 1lb 13 1/3oz, 3rd place went to Dave Mathers with 2 fish for 1lb 2/3oz
Ian also had biggest flat, a 35cm flounder and Will Sprules picked up biggest round with a 47cm Eel.
